Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This is a gem! I've only seen this rolled ice cream on social media. I think this style originated in Thailand. I was surprised to find this here in the East Bay, where something unique is hard to find. I've only tried the matcha with mochi, cheesecake, and brownie bits. It was sooo good!!! esp cause the weather was in the upper 80's when I went there. I wish I'd taken a photo but I forgot to take one. This would make a good treat any time of the year. Went back this afternoon and took some photos."
"The ice cream is delicious! We tried cookies and cream, mango, and vanilla. All delicious! The mango has real mango bits and reminds me of the Mochi Mango by Mikawaya. I love that they give free unlimited toppings! I recommend the fresh fruits(mango, strawberry, blueberry, etc), boba pearls, chocolate powder, and whipped cream. OHMYGOSH! The BOBA pearls! I’m so picky since I try many boba shops, but I love theirs! It’s sweet with the right amount of chewiness. Other shops forget to sweeten the pearls, so I’m glad Rolling House does. I can’t wait to try their drinks. The employee is so friendly and speaks Spanish! My parents felt comfortable from the beginning. The owner looks passionate with his work too. They take their time rolling the ice cream, which is much appreciated. I hope they maintain the same quality as they establish themselves here for it is what makes or breaks food businesses around the area. So excited to come back!"
"It's a small space , very clean nice little bar to sit at in front of window , the rolls were amazing the wings were good . The Garlic parmesan fries were 12/10 crispy and flavorful . Highly recommend"
"It is fun to watch them freeze and roll the ice cream in front of you. The end result is both pretty and delicious. We had the mango with lychee and fruit, and a classic chocolate with fruit and whipped cream both of which I'd recommend. Overall I'd definitely come back here compared to the typical ice cream chains."
"This place is absolutely amazing! Not only do they have rolled ice cream, but they have hot wings, teas with or without boba, smoothies, and French fries. Everything is so flavorful. The wings are saucy and crispy. The rolled ice cream has the perfect consistency. The tear is so refreshing. 10/10 I would recommend this place to anyone. Please come out. You will not regret it."
"We got rolled ice cream and the salt and pepper wings. The wings were excellent!! The rolled ice cream was fun and they had good flavor choices like black sesame. Unlimited free toppings too!"
"Ice cream is good, right sweetness for thai tea flavored things. Boba tasted fresh and the cheesecake bites were my favorite toppings. Forgot to take a picture of the fried chicken, but I got salt and pepper bone in and would be the reason I come back. There isn't a lot of room to dine in tho, probably take your food and go elsewhere to eat. Nice service."
"It was great meeting Kevin, I was waiting in line and there was two customers in ahead of me who were new to this type of food, and he was very patient with them explaining in details and answering all her questions, I can see his work ethics and passion for his business, hope all the best for this place. God bless! I enjoyed my order strawberry flavored rolls with fresh strawberries and blueberries"
